Ownership history
Formed 4 December 2000 by merging Stellenbosch Farmers' Winery and Distillers Corporation. JSE listing from 19 March 2001 (DST). Acquired by Heineken, completed 26 April 2023; now part of Heineken Beverages. KWV was unbundled from the Distell group in 2009.
Grew out of Stellenbosch Farmers' Winery, Distillers Corporation. Became part of Heineken Beverages.
